Big hair - Big attitude.
Introducing Gladys, a gritty and hardened blue-collar protagonist. Donning weathered army green overalls and leather boots, she exudes attitude and resilience reminiscent of Ripley from the 80’s film Alien. She does her best to keep her head down and do her work, while shielding her gaze behind her sunglasses & concealing her sense of self like a seasoned poker player. Detached from society, her sole anchor is her grandson, driving her tenacity in the face of adversity.

Atmospheric.
This version of Brooklyn is populated by seemingly vacant buildings. The action is set during night time with heavy atmosphere and weather events (rain, lighting/thunder and snow leftovers). The elements mix to create a sense of hardship, uneasiness.
All of these elements together are meant to cause a sense of discomfort, not so scary but tense, as well as give the player a sense of focus in each enemy by not having the minimalism of the dark environment pull their focus away from each battle.
